We can work with your engineers to develop detailed shop drawings for machining purposes. Parts are developed into solid models that can later be put out to detailed drawings or used for illustration or assembly. Solid models can identify interference and production issues before going to the floor. This form of producing drawings eliminates the need for formulating primary views and eliminates the possibility of error in the drawing between these views. Drawings can easily be produced from the model for all three views; plan, profile and side. Auxiliary views are simply sectioned out of the model, if needed. The model of the worm gear shows shop drawings for the major components of the construction. All drawings were solprof out from this model.
